During 2003 Custom Red Software Studios built a demo software for a forklift driving training company. I had a big part in developing mechanics and physics in these projects. The forklift demo was rapidly prototyped on Custom Red’s in-house engine XPA.
This demo allows forklift drivers train in driving new stick-controlled forklifts without the risk of harming or damaging the surroundings. Both the forklift and the surroundings are simulated in realistic way through the use of physics calculations.
