During 2004 Custom Red Software Studios built a demo software for a Don’t Drink and Drive Campain for Vägverket (now called Trafikverket). I had a big part in developing mechanics and physics in this project. The demo was created with Custom Red’s in-house engine XPA.
This demo allows drivers to experience drunk driving at different levels of intoxination without being under the influence of alcohol. You drove it with a physical steering wheel and your reactions and the graphics was affected by the level of virtual intoxination.
